The Conservatory of Music accepted its first candidates for the master’s degree in September 1988. With a small and selective enrollment, the program is rigorous and delivers a measure of faculty mentoring that few conservatories can match. In less than two decades, the Conservatory has established itself as a highly respected graduate program for gifted musicians and composers clearly destined for professional careers.
