Department Description
The UNT Percussion Department is one of the largest college percussion programs in the country. UNT Percussion Ensembles have regularly performed at national/international music conventions. UNT percussion students also participate in world class ensembles in jazz, wind symphony, orchestra and many other areas.
Undergrad Courses
Three Classical Percussion Ensembles, Two Steel Drum Bands, Afro-Cuban Ensemble, Brazilian Ensemble, South Indian Cross Cultural Ensemble, Contemporary Jazz Percussion Ensemble, African Ensemble, Drum Line.
Graduate Course
Percussion Literature and Pedagogy, Percussion Arranging, Graduate Percussion Ensemble, Applied Lessons.
