Looked like another perfect day, to borrow from Randy Newman's anthem “I
Love LA”. And, to be sure, the sun was shining down when LP held a huge
artist photo shoot at Center Staging Musical Productions in Burbank, CA recently.
This was LP's second major group artist photo shoot in LA; the
first took place in 1988. Once again entitled “LA Loves LP”,
most of LP’s LA-based artists, along with some of the top figures in
the music industry were invited to this special event.
Hosted by LP Artist Relations Manager Steve Nigohosian, LP Education Coordinator
Memo Acevedo, and LP Founder Martin Cohen, the
shoot found the perfect venue in Center Staging, a pro facility all round.
The flash pods went up and LP Photographer and A/V Coordinator Tom Schwartz
fixed his sights on the who's who of the LP
roster. Among the artists who attended were Richie
Garcia, Walfredo
Reyes Jr., Kevin
Ricard, Vicki
Randle, Ron
Powell, Gregg
Bissonette, Lenny
Castro,Denise
Fraser, Brendon Buckley, Cassio
Duarte, John
Mahon, Stephen
Perkins, Zoro,
and Vinnie Colaiuta.
The "LA Loves LP"
shoot was an unqualified success, due in no small part to the efficient team
at Center Staging, with special mention going to Johnny Caswell, Nissim Aaharon,
Brent Barnett, Jake Voelz, Daxx Nielson, and Brian Reiter.
LP thanks all at Center Staging and the many loyal LP
artists who gave of their time to make the “LA Loves LP” photo
shoot the talk of the town.
