LP ARTISTS HIGHLY VISIBLE AT NAMM 2005

LP Artists

Once again, Latin Percussion was the leader in hand percussion at the 2005 National Association of Music Merchant's (NAMM) show in Anaheim, California, January 20 - 23. In addition to exhibiting new, innovative products, LP was particularly well-represented due to the fact that LP artists from the East Coast, unquestionably among the best percussionists on the New York Latin scene, were also present in the LP booth. LP flew these very important players to NAMM as a token of thanks for their loyalty to the company, as well as so NAMM attendees could actually witness the best percussionists perform up close and personal. Among the New York players who jammed in the LP booth were George Delgado, Chino Nunez, Bobby Sanabria, Chembo Corniel, and Johnny Rivero. Of course, conga master Giovanni Hidalgo was also present, along with his fellow LP artists Richie Gajate Garcia, Armando Peraza, Karl Perazzo, Ron Powell, Raul Rekow, and Michael Spiro.

Countless other LP artists stopped by the booth to jam and hang out with their friends, such as Joey De Leon, Stephen Perkins, Steve Gadd, Joey Heredia, and many others. All in all, the LP family of artists got a chance to chat, perform, and impress all who were fortunate enough to see the perform.
